IRON MOUNTAIN — Stephens Real Estate of Iron Mountain has been named the top individual real estate office for 2019, earning that distinction for the 11th year in a row, according to the Upper Peninsula Association of Realtors’ rankings of 21 area offices.

The office at 1320 Carpenter Ave. in Iron Mountain had more than $37.26 million in sales production and 274 units sold in 2019.

“Our sales increased by more than 36% from last year alone, which is a shining testimony to the market knowledge, experience and integrity of our highly skilled agents,” said Ryan Gordon, broker/owner of Stephens Real Estate. “Stephens has been in business since 1979 and we are extremely grateful to our many loyal clients who have given us their trust.”

Gordon also expressed pride in his team of 11 agents and associate brokers.

Gordon was ranked No. 1 in the area and No. 2 overall in the Upper Peninsula with more than $18 million in sales. Three other Realtors in the office achieved their personal best in sales, including Betsy Sawicky at $8.5 million in sales, ranking third in the area; Troy Margoni with $4.4 million in sales, ranking ninth in the area; and Jo Poulin with $3.1 million in sales, ranking 18th.

Gordon said he has always looked at Sally Blom and Maddy Tousignant, former co-owners and brokers of the business, as cornerstones to real estate in the area.

“Make no mistake about it, we would not have achieved this success as an office or individually if it weren’t for the mentorship Sally and Maddy provide,” he said.
