Wisconsin offers food benefits

FLORENCE, Wis. — Wisconsin food commodities are available to Florence County residents by curbside pickup on U.S. 2 in Florence.

Temporary Emergency Food Assistance Program applicants self-declare income eligibility by determining that their combined household income is equal to or less that the stated amounts.

Effective June 1, during the COVID-19 pandemic, the weekly income limit is $736 for a one-person household; $995 weekly for a two-person household; and $1,253 weekly for a three-person household, with higher limits for larger households.

For more information, call Call 211 Wisconsin and ask for the location and hours of the nearest TEFAP food pantry. If you are unable to reach by 211, call 877-947-2211.
