STEPHEN ALEXA

IRON MOUNTAIN — Stephen Alexa Jr. has been appointed to the First National Bank & Trust Board of Directors.

Alexa is president and chief operations officer at Champion, Inc. and chairman of Gundlach Champion’s Board of Directors. He previously was president of Champion’s National Ready Mix division and before that was a senior project manager with GCI.

Alexa is a trustee on the Michigan Laborer’s Health and Welfare, Pension and Annuity trust funds. He also is active with Michigan’s Associated General Contractors Association and a director on AGC’s Labor Relations Division.

Alexa has a bachelor of science in civil engineering from Michigan Technological University. He and his wife, Chastity, are North Dickinson County High School graduates and returned to Dickinson County in 2004. His children, AJ and Masyn, are North Dickinson graduates as well now attending MTU.
