Gunville admitted to State Bar, practicing at Finch Law

NORWAY — Emily Gunville of Norway has been admitted as an attorney to the State Bar of Michigan.

Gunville passed Michigan’s July bar examination and received her certification of qualification for admission.

She took the oath of office on Nov. 13, administered by Chief Judge Mary Barglind.

Gunville earned her undergraduate degree through Bay College and Lake Superior State University. She attended and completed her legal education at the Thomas M. Cooley Law School, obtaining her juris doctorate degree.

Gunville has joined the firm of Finch Law as an associate and will concentrate her practice on family, business and criminal law.

Gunville is a lifelong Dickinson County resident. She resides in Norway with her partner, Brian Miller, and their daughter, McKenna. She also is active in the community, serving as a founding member on the board of the Friends of the Dickinson County Fair and a member of Zonta Club of Iron Mountain-Kingsford.
