NORWAY — A ribbon-cutting ceremony recently took place for the newest Forslund Building Supply store at 109 W. U.S. 2 in Norway.

The third-generation, family-owned business was founded as a sawmill, with a small retail sales office, by Carl and Lillian Forslund in 1950 and has expanded to multiple locations servicing western Upper Michigan and northern Wisconsin over the past 71 years.

Forslund Building Supply provides quality materials to local do-it-yourselfers, experienced contractors and home builders throughout the Upper Peninsula and northern Wisconsin. With three locations in Upper Michigan, they are close by with expert advice. From design consultants and local contractors to materials, tools and more, they offer a local, family-owned alternative to the big box store.

Forslund Building Supply also provides free estimates on their services as well as delivery, price matching and special contractor pricing.

The Norway location is open 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays and 8 a.m. to noon Sundays. Other locations are in Ironwood and Caspian. For more information, go to online to www.forslund.com.
