Upper Peninsula Audiology expands to Iron Mountain
THE DICKINSON AREA Chamber of Commerce and Upper Peninsula Audiology recently had a ribbon-cutting ceremony in honor of Upper Peninsula Audiology becoming a member and to welcome them to the Iron Mountain area. IRON MOUNTAIN — Upper Peninsula Audiology has established an Iron Mountain location.
The office is now open full-time by audiologist Dr. Kati Stilwell. She is accepting new patients from Dickinson County and surrounding areas.
Owner and audiologist, Melissa Collard established Upper Peninsula Audiology in Houghton six years ago. The same professional and comprehensive hearing health care patients received in Houghton now is available in Iron Mountain.
Stilwell provides best practice audiology services that include diagnostic hearing tests, hearing aid fit and follow-ups, cochlear implant care, employment screenings and custom hearing protection for patients of all ages.
Stilwell received her bachelor’s degree in speech and hearing health sciences from Northern Michigan University in 2015, then her doctoral degree in audiology from Central Michigan University in May 2019.
Stilwell established the only cochlear implant program in the Upper Peninsula in 2019, according to Upper Peninsula Audiology.
