IM CPA firm Fleury, Singler has strong peer review report

IRON MOUNTAIN — Certified public accounting firm Fleury, Singler & Company PC of Iron Mountain earned high marks in its most recent system peer review, which has been accepted by the American Institute of CPAs’ Peer Review Program and the Michigan Peer Review Committee of the Michigan Association of CPAs.

Jerry Picucci, managing owner of Fleury, Singler & Company, said the firm’s peer review was performed by BKD LLP CPAs and Advisors, the 13th-largest CPA and advisory firm in the U.S. with 310 partners, more than 3,030 on staff and 40 offices in 18 states, serving clients in all 50 states and internationally. BKD also is the largest U.S. member of Praxity, an association that helps accounting professionals connect and exchange expertise in 111 countries.

“We continue to be proud of our organization and our employees for receiving the highest and best possible rating for our review, especially from a firm of such quality, size and status as BKD LLP. We intend to continue to offer the highest level of service to our clients and to endeavor to maintain our firm’s position in the areas we serve,” Picucci said.

The peer review was done by a team of BKD partners who were in Iron Mountain in May, Picucci said. The purpose of a peer review was to report on Fleury, Singler’s system of qualify control and whether it has been designed and complied with to provide the firm with reasonable assurance of performing and reporting in conformity with applicable professional standards.
