IRON MOUNTAIN — With a record-setting $67 million in sales in 2021, Stephens Real Estate of Iron Mountain was named Top-Selling Real Estate Company by the Upper Peninsula Association of Realtors, which recently ranked the 25 offices and 18 firms that comprise the Greater Iron Mountain Area MLS.

This is the 13th consecutive year Stephens has landed the number one position, according to the real estate company.

“Even with the limitations placed on our industry due to COVID, our sales increased by 45 percent and our closed transactions increased by 26 percent from last year,” said Ryan Gordon, broker and owner of Stephens Real Estate.

Individually, seven agents on the Stephens team in 2021 had their best year yet for sales production: Gordon with $25.2 million, Associate Broker Betsy Sawicky with $12.3 million, Troy Margoni with $4.6 million, Associate Broker Cindi Strehlow with $3.7 million, Nikki Schmutzler with $2.5 million, Katie Cascioli with $1.9 million, and Dawn Caruso with $1.2 million.

This success was recognized by readers of Upper Peninsula Business Today, who selected Stephens as the Best Real Estate Agency in the U.P. in the publication’s annual “Top Picks in the 906.” Additionally, Gordon was chosen as the Best Real Estate Agent in the Upper Peninsula.

Finally, Stephens wrapped up 2021 by being named Small Business of the Year by their fellow members of the Dickinson Area Chamber of Commerce.
