ESCANABA — The Michigan Department of Natural Resources will host a timber sale wood producers meeting Tuesday at Bay College in Escanaba.

It will be 9 a.m. to noon Eastern time in the conference room of the college’s Joseph Heirman University Center, 2001 N. Lincoln Road in Escanaba.

Past and present timber sale contract holders and bidders of state timber sales will have an opportunity to meet with DNR staff. Loggers, procurement foresters and mill owners are welcome to attend.

The meeting will include an open discussions about timber sale changes, market conditions and updates from DNR leadership.
