IRON MOUNTAIN -- Donnie's Reel Repair recently joined the Dickinson Area Chamber of Commerce, which celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Located in Vulcan, Donnie's Reel Repair owner Don Curran has been in business for 47 years. Curran cleans and greases all makes and models of fishing reels and repairs fishing rods, winding eyes on and repairing tips.
Curran has repaired and sent parts to 36 states across the country, including Alaska and Hawaii. Even a man from South Africa sent him a reel for repair after Curran was recommended by Bass Pro Shops.
He also offers Stren and Trilene monofilament line from 4-pound to 30-pound test.
