Realtors earn 2014 top-producing ranks

IRON MOUNTAIN – The top realtor for 2014 is Betsy Sawicky, a realtor with Stephens Real Estate in Iron Mountain.

Sawicky earned the top-producing spot with more than $7.11 million in sales last year. She was the area’s top-selling real estate agent as well, with 85 units sold.

This ranking is based on the Upper Peninsula Association of Realtors’ ranking of 69 area real estate agents.

A consistent top-producer, Sawicky is a licensed real estate agent in both Michigan and Wisconsin and holds the professional designation of Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR).

She is originally from Lansing, and lives in Iron Mountain with her son, Logan.

Stephens Real Estate’s co-owner Sally L. Blom earned the number two spot among all area realtors in 2014. She had more than $6.27 million in sales and 51.5 units sold. Active in real estate since 1979, Blom is a licensed broker in both Michigan and Wisconsin and holds the professional designations of Graduate, Realtor Institute (GRI), Accredited Buyer Representative (ABRZ), and Certified Residential Specialist (CRS).

In addition, Blom has served on the state Board of Real Estate Brokers and Salespersons for eight years and was chairperson for two years.

Along with her many years of professional experience, Blom serves on the Board of Trustees of the Dickinson County Healthcare System and is an ambassador for the Dickinson Area Partnership.

She is also a member of the Iron Mountain-Kingsford Women’s Club, P.E.O, Pine Grove Country Club, and Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church.
