Michigan Hidden Talent Tour slated March 31

MARQUETTE – The Lake Superior Community Partnership (LSCP), Greater Ishpeming-Negaunee Area Chamber of Commerce (GINCC) and 40 Below: Marquette County Young Professionals are hosting the Michigan Hidden Talent Tour and Center for Michigan Community Conversation on Tuesday, March 31.

The Michigan Hidden Talent Tour, led by Lt. Gov. Brian Calley and Michigan Supreme Court Justice Richard Bernstein, is an opportunity to learn from Michigan business leaders about the opportunities of workforce inclusion.

More than 400 Michigan business leaders are hiring people with disabilities to fulfill their employment needs.

The Center for Michigan Community Conversation is a forum to share ideas, priorities, and opinions about career navigation and college value and affordability in Michigan. Our county’s top priorities for improving career navigation and college affordability will be shared with state leaders.

The event will begin at 11 a.m. with the Hidden Talent Tour. The Community Conversation will start at noon.

Lunch is $15 for LSCP, GINCC and 40 Below members and $20 for non-members. Registration is available at www.marquette.org or by calling (906) 226-6591 by Thursday, March 26.
