Stephens Real Estate named top selling office in UPAR for seventh year in a row
IRON MOUNTAIN – With nearly $22.8 million in sales volume and 239 units closed during 2015, Stephens Real Estate of Iron Mountain was named the top-producing office for the seventh year in a row.
This honor is according to the Upper Peninsula Association of Realtors’ rankings of 16 individual real estate offices in the area, which includes Dickinson, Iron, Florence, Marinette, Menominee, and parts of Delta and Marquette counties.
“This number one ranking is emblematic of our agents’ dedication to the needs of their clients,” noted a Stephens’ spokeswoman. “They are an unrivaled group of professionals who also work hard at keeping up to date on the latest real estate technology and available training. We’re very proud to celebrate the successes of brokers and co-owners Sally Blom and Maddy Tousignant plus agents Betsy Sawicky, Peggy Gingrass, Ryan Gordon, Jodi LaVarnway, and Bob Norton for their contributions to this accomplishment.”
Stephens controlled a 17 percent market share, having surpassed their closest competitor’s sales volume by 35 percent and number of units sold by more than 43 percent.
The spokeswoman added that one of the keys to this phenomenal success is business they receive from referrals. “The agent testimonials are overwhelmingly positive, highlighting their experience and ability to address the specific needs and goals of individual clients,” she stated. “As a result, we assisted more than 230 families in buying and selling homes last year.”
Established in 1979, Stephens Real Estate provides real estate services throughout Upper Michigan and northeastern Wisconsin. The office is located at 1320 Carpenter Ave. in Iron Mountain.
