DCH Foundation scholarships

Four Dickinson County Healthcare System employees earlier this month received continuing education scholarships from the Dickinson County Hospital Foundation. The $1,800 Huron Family Memorial Scholarship went to Kim Tobey, while $1,500 Foundation Scholarships were awarded to Heather Marsicek, Lauren Roell and Joy Waldbillig. Applicants for the scholarships must be either DCHS employees, family members of employees or Dickinson County residents pursuing a medical field, and must maintain passing grades. From left are Tamara Juul, DCH Foundation director; Tobey, a licensed practical nurse in the Dickinson Pediatric Clinic; Marsicek, an LPN in emergency services; Bob Forgette Jr., a DCH Foundation board member; Roell, a registered nurse in emergency services; and Waldbillig, medical staff coordinator.
