IRON MOUNTAIN — Dickinson Homes has agreed to be the signature sponsor for the third annual Brew Fest, set for June 8 in Iron Mountain, the Downtown Development Authority has announced.

“Sponsors are vital to the success of our events, and we’re extremely grateful to Dickinson Homes for investing in the downtown,” said Amber Pipp, DDA event coordinator.

The DDA was able to raise $30,000 in 2018 through these events, with all profits being used to promote economic growth and to create a more vibrant downtown in Iron Mountain.

New this year, Dickinson Homes is teaming up with Barrel+Beam of Marquette, one of the participating Upper Peninsula breweries, to provide attendees an opportunity to sip in style in an even smaller version of the Dickinson Homes’ “tiny home” on display at its 404 N. Stephenson Ave. location.

Brew Fest will offer more than 70 beers, hard ciders and meads to sample from 1 to 6 p.m. Central time Saturday, June 8, in downtown Iron Mountain, plus food trucks and live music.

Along with Dickinson Homes as signature sponsor, music sponsor will be the Tourism Association of the Dickinson County Area, as well as First National Bank & Trust, River Valley Bank, The Good Earth Salon, Northern Interstate

Bank, and the Brew Fest “Hotel of Choice,” Pine Mountain Resort. Sponsorships for this event still are available.

Tickets are on sale now, with general admission starting at $30 and providing 15 tokens for sampling beers. BIP — Beery Important Person –tickets start at $40 and allow early entry and a signature tasting glass. Those willing to be the designated driver pay only $10 for pop and water tickets, plus access to the food and music.

Smokler’s and Burger Bus will provide food.
