River Valley Bank names new CFO

Glendon Peterson

WAUSAU, Wis. — River Valley Bank and IncredibleBank has named Glendon Peterson as executive vice president and chief financial officer. In 15 years at the bank, Peterson has had various finance positions, most recently senior vice president-controller.

In his new role, Peterson will be responsible for the bank’s capital, financial planning, reporting, and projecting/accounting practices as well as its relationship with lending institutions, auditors, shareholders, and the financial community.

He has a bachelor of science degree in accountancy from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and is a certified public accountant. Before River Valley, Peterson spent six years at the national accounting firm, Wipfli LLP, where his area of practice included auditing financial institutions.

“Without question, he is a gifted chief financial officer, but beyond that, Glendon understands River Valley’s purpose, mission, and our growth plans as we transition from River Valley Bank to IncredibleBank over the course of 2019,” said Todd Nagel, president and CEO of River Valley Bank and IncredibleBank.

Headquartered in Wausau, River Valley Bank has 15 branches in Wisconsin and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
