Chamber welcomes Fireplace North & Spa

IRON MOUNTAIN — The Dickinson Area Chamber of Commerce recently hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony for member Fireplace North & Spa.

Fireplace North & Spa has been in business for 24 years. They have grown to a 2,000-square-foot showroom at 1410 S. Stephenson Ave. in Iron Mountain that features 24 burning fireplaces on displays.

Fireplace North & Spa sells fireplaces, stoves, inserts for both gas and wood, along with hot tubs and pool chemicals. They provide sales, service and installation of all of their products.

Some of the brands they carry include Fireplace Xtrordinair, Heat N Glo, Quadrafire, Lopi, Arctic Spas and Nordic hot tubs.

Owners Bill and Janet Spring purchased Fireplace North & Spa in 2014 and both of their sons assist in the business. Bill Spring has obtained extensive training and certification in his field, which includes National Fire Institute gas certification, Chimney Safety Institute of America certification and his Michigan mechanical license. He provides installation and service work in the field; free estimates are available on installing a hearth product. Janet Spring works as the sales/office manager.
