DCHS adds family medicine, pediatric specialist Howell

KORBY HOWELL

IRON MOUNTAIN — Korby Howell, a certified physicians assistant, will join Dickinson County Healthcare System with a practice at the Dickinson Primary Care Center in Iron Mountain.

As a family medicine and pediatric specialist, Howell can provide health care services for all ages.

“I chose to be a PA and go into primary care because I believe that mid-level providers are the answer to the access to care crisis in the United States,” Howell said. “I am also passionate about providing quality community healthcare.”

Originally from Sandy, Utah, Howell attended medical school at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences-Boston. He is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

Howell said he, his wife and their three children are excited about this next chapter in their lives.

“I grew up in rural area that has now become swallowed up by a larger city,” he noted. “My family and I are grateful for the opportunity to once again live in a rural area that offers good family values, hunting, fishing and other great outdoor activities.”

The DCHS Primary Care Center is in Suite 210 at 1711 S. Stephenson Ave. in Iron Mountain.
