Escanaba — Bay College, in partnership with Michigan Technological University, will offer the Mine Safety and Health Administration eight-hour annual refresher training.

This program covers the annual training requirements under 30 CFR parts 46 and 48. Companies training under Part 46 must have an approved training plan. Attendees must be “experienced miners” and have completed their 24-hour new miner training.

Training will take place in Escanaba in room 908J of the Joseph Heirman University Center at Bay College. Participants can choose to attend on Wednesday, Feb. 15; Thursday, Feb. 16; or Friday, Feb. 17. Training is from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern time and the cost is $70, with lunch included.
