Marshfield names Dickinson’s Rankin chief nursing officer for region
IRON MOUNTAIN –Marshfield Medical Center-Dickinson’s Trenton Rankin, most recently manager of hospital supervisors/clinical education, has been named chief nursing officer of the Michigan Region.
“Trenton has shown his leadership skills at various levels in our organization, and he is the perfect person to fill this role,” MMCD President Mandy Shelast said.
A graduate of Florence County High School, Rankin has been a registered nurse for more than 24 years, earning his bachelor of science in nursing at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. He has more than 22 years at the Dickinson facility.
He is board certified in emergency nursing. He is seeking a master’s degree in nursing, with an emphasis in leadership and administration.
He will lead efforts to develop and maintain a work environment that supports the organizational mission, values, goals and initiatives of the Marshfield Clinic Health System.
“I am honored to be able to serve as the chief nursing officer for the Michigan Region at Marshfield Medical Center-Dickinson,” Rankin said. “This community is home for me, my wife Leah, our two sons, Alexander and Zachary, and other family and friends.
