NORWAY — Higher Love Cannabis Co. today will have the grand opening of its new Norway store.

The store is at 650 U.S. 2 in Norway. Business hours will be 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Sunday.

Those who attend the grand opening today who are age 21 and older will have the chance to win prizes, patronize local food trucks and more.

Higher Love has been in operation in northern Michigan since 2019. This is the organization’s sixth store, with previous locations in Crystal Falls, Marquette, Houghton, Ironwood and Munising.

Higher Love prides itself on providing organically grown cannabis. In addition to being the first vertically integrated cannabis company in Michigan, Higher Love’s cultivation facility is the only Class C medicinal and manufacturing operation in the Upper Peninsula.

“I’m over the moon to be settling into the city of Norway,” said Joni Moore, Higher Love president. “This tight-knit community aligns with our own values of family, friends, laughter, nature, health and well-being.”
