NORWAY — Danielson’s Floral & Greenhouse has joined the Dickinson Area Chamber of Commerce, which celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Danielson’s Floral & Greenhouse was founded in 1946 and has been providing the Dickinson County region with quality flowers, plants, garden starts, gifts and service.

Danielson’s is owned by Erica Land and employs several staff members who support her creativity and vision. They provide a full-service flower shop specializing in custom design work for weddings, birthdays, celebrations, funerals and any other event that needs something special.

Their greenhouse offers a wide variety of house plants along with seasonal selections such as mums, wreaths, poinsettias and Easter lilies.

Their organic growing practices also provide the best environment for everything they offer in their annual spring sale: vegetables, herbs, annual and perennial flowers for cutting and containers, native plants and hanging baskets.

They are expanding their partnership between their greenhouse and floral divisions to offer a wide variety of locally grown flowers in their arrangements. This allows them to be more sustainable and provides new and unique elements for their customers’ pieces.

The gift shop features a combination of locally produced items and artisanal pieces.

Education is also something Danielson’s Greenhouse feels passionate about. Their goal over time is to offer a variety of classes from floral design to growing techniques and beyond. At their core, they want to develop a community of creative and generous people who love the beauty of plants.

Danielson’s Greenhouse is open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to noon Saturdays; the business is closed on Sundays. They are at 130 Brown St. in Norway. They can be reached by calling 906-563-9322. Their website is at www.danielsonsfloral.com.

Starting at $3.50/week.
