IRON MOUNTAIN — Bes.Teas, a drink shop created by two best friends who turned years of daydreaming into reality, has joined the Dickinson Area Chamber of Commerce, which celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the business.
After 16 years of friendship, co-owners Emilie Stevens and Kennedy Ashbacher launched Bes.Teas in mid-September to bring something fresh and fun to their hometown. The menu includes a wide range of customizable drinks such as fruit teas, flavored lemonades, milk teas, Lotus energy drinks and dirty sodas. Customers can add tapioca pearls or bursting boba to make their drink just right, according to a chamber news release.
“Our name is a playful blend of ‘besties’ and ‘tea’–a perfect match, just like us!” co-owner Emilie Stevens said. “We worked with Bill at Ink Design & Apparel to bring our vision to life and together we created a logo that truly represents us. The two ghosts in our branding? That’s us — designed in our image and full of spirit! At Bes.Teas, we serve up more than just drinks — we serve up joy.”
The owners added, “We couldn’t have done it without all the support of our friends and family.”
Bes.Teas invites the community to stop in and sip something fun. The shop at 407 Carpenter Ave. in Iron Mountain is open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays. For more information or to view their menu, go to www.besteas906.com.
