Felch, Crystal Falls, Northpointe receive Toro equipment donations
IRON MOUNTAIN — Felch Township, Northpointe Behavioral Healthcare System and the city of Crystal Falls are the recipients of equipment donations from BOSS Snowplow and The Toro Company.
Felch Township will receive a Toro Workman utility vehicle, while Northpointe will receive a 50-inch Exmark Quest zero turn riding lawnmower.
Crystal Falls is the recipient of a 72-inch Toro Z Master 4000 Series riding lawnmower.
The donations were made possible through The Toro Company’s Equipment and Irrigation Product Donation Program, which provides support to nonprofit organizations, schools, and local governments that align with Toro’s mission of enriching the beauty, productivity and sustainability of the land.
The Workman will assist Felch Township with maintaining municipal grounds, community parks and public spaces.
“We are proud to support Felch Township and their dedication to caring for the spaces that bring residents together,” said Justina Blazier, giving ambassador for BOSS Snowplow, speaking on behalf of The Toro Foundation.
The riding lawnmower donated to Crystal Falls is engineered for commercial-grade performance, ideal for covering large areas with speed and precision.
“We are proud to support the City of Crystal Falls and their commitment to well-maintained green spaces for residents and visitors,” said Blazier. “This donation reflects our shared values of community, sustainability, and environmental stewardship.”
Northpointe serves more than 1,600 individuals annually across Dickinson, Menominee, and Iron counties. The organization provides a wide range of essential services, including mental health therapy, developmental disability programs, adult foster care, school-based services, autism support and community living assistance.
The donation of the riding mower will help Northpointe reduce the cost of contracted lawn care services, enabling the organization to reallocate funds toward critical care and support programs for adults and children with mental and behavioral health needs. With seven properties requiring year-round grounds maintenance, this donation ensures Northpointe’s team can spend less time on mowing and more time supporting individuals across its facilities.
“At BOSS, we believe that giving back means supporting those who support others. Northpointe’s work in mental and behavioral health care is both critical and compassionate — and we’re honored to help lighten their load,” Blazier said. “By providing the tools to maintain their facilities more efficiently, we hope to free up time and resources so their team can focus on what matters most: caring for people.”
