MARQUETTE – Upper Peninsula REALTORS has chosen Kelly Challancin of Leeds Real Estate in Iron Mountain for the 2025 Bright Spot Award.
Challancin was recognized in front of more than 160 of her colleagues and peers during UPR’s annual Continuing Education event Oct. 22 at Northern Michigan University in Marquette.
The Bright Spot Award honors a member who consistently brings positivity, encouragement and “realtor spirit” to UPR. These individuals may not always be in the spotlight, but their presence makes the association stronger, more welcoming, and more connected, the organization stated in a news release.
Challancin’s colleagues describe her as someone who goes out of her way to support others — reaching out when a fellow realtor is sick, struggling or celebrating a milestone. She is known for her kindness, thoughtfulness and ability to brighten any room she enters.
Beyond her professional excellence, Challancin exemplifies compassion and encouragement. She listens carefully, offers support when needed and brings joy to everyone she interacts with, according to the organization.
“Kelly has a way of lifting others up and reminding us all of the importance of kindness in our profession,” said Ben Argall, president of the Upper Peninsula REALTORS. “Her positivity and realtor spirit truly make her a bright spot in our association.”
