IRON MOUNTAIN — The Dickinson Area Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual Golf Scramble at Oak Crest Golf Club in Norway, with Orbit Technology returning as the presenting sponsor.
The event Sept. 12 kicked off with a 10 a.m. shotgun start and featured a day of golf, networking and games, including the ever-popular “Toilet Bowl Hole” sponsored by D&L Plumbing & Heating.
“We had so much fun, excitement and support, along with a great turnout,” said Suzanne Larson, Dickinson Area Chamber of Commerce CEO/executive director. “The weather also couldn’t have been better for this event.”
Orbit Technology’s Gary Unrein added, “I’m happy to support the chamber and their golf outing. It’s a great day of fun and camaraderie, while supporting a great cause.”

The big winners of this year’s outing were the team from IncredibleBank: Mark Picucci, Chad Menza, Gabe Lewis and Anthony Santoni, who took home the giant trophy — great for an entire year of bragging rights.
The chamber expressed its sincere thanks and gratitude to the many raffle sponsors, donors, and volunteers who helped make the day a success.
“Events like these are only possible because of the generosity and enthusiasm of our local business community,” Larson said. “I’d especially like to thank the Golf Committee, who consisted of Matt Lutz, Cole Grenier, Jeffrey VanHolla (all from First National Bank & Trust) and Scott Schmultzer (TV6).”
Larson noted the bank took on the planning for the event. “I’m incredibly grateful for the chamber’s relationship with the bank as they jumped on board to assist this year. We’re already looking forward to next year’s event,” she said.
