Crandall named First Bank’s regional VP

Debra Crandall

IRON MOUNTAIN/KINGSFORD — First Bank has promoted Debra Crandall to regional vice president for Upper Michigan.

With more than 30 years of banking experience and 11 years as a member of the First Bank team, Crandall brings a wealth of expertise and a proven track record in lending, team development and customer relationship management, according to a First Bank news release.

In 2025, she graduated from the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and also earned a certificate in executive leadership during her tenure.

As regional vice president, Crandall will oversee the overall direction and performance of banking operations across First Bank’s Western region. Her responsibilities include supporting strategic growth initiatives, business development, operational excellence, credit quality, compliance, and risk management.

Crandall will also continue to foster strong customer and community relationships, support employee development, and nurture the organizational culture.

Beyond her professional achievements, Crandall is committed to community service. She is on the boards of: United Way of Dickinson County, Rotary Club, Carefree Dental Board, Zonta, City of Kingsford Police and Fireman Pension Board, Dickinson Area Chamber of Commerce and Iron Mountain Academic Booster Club

Crandall is also a proud mother of five daughters and grandmother of four. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, attending concerts and sporting events, and spending quality time with her family.
