Harbor Freight opens new store in IM’s Midtown Mall

IRON MOUNTAIN -- Harbor Freight officially opened its newest location Tuesday at 1052 S. Stephenson Ave. in Iron Mountain's Midtown Mall.
"We're excited to continue growing our footprint with the opening of our new Iron Mountain location. Each new store represents our commitment to making professional-quality tools and equipment more convenient and accessible for hardworking customers nationwide," Mark Andrew Jicha, store manager at Harbor Freight, said in a news release from the Southern California-based company.
The new store will carry Harbor Freight's full lineup of exclusive tools and equipment, including brands such as ICON professional hand tools, Hercules and Bauer power tools, U.S. GENERAL tool storage and PREDATOR generators.
Customers will also find a wide range of automotive, welding, shop and outdoor equipment, the company states in its news release.
Harbor Freight serves more than 75 million customers, from professional contractors and technicians to homeowners and hobbyists. The company designs tools that meet or exceed professional standards at a fraction of the price, it news release states
Harbor Freight has more than 1,600 stores nationwide, including 56 in Michigan. The new Iron Mountain store brought 10 to 15 jobs to the community, adding to its 650 associates in Michigan, according to Harbor Freight.
