QUINNESEC -- 41 Lumber will have a grand reopening of its remodeled Quinnesec location from 1 to 4 p.m. Friday, inviting contractors, homeowners and community members to come see the new look at W7404 U.S. 2.
The extensive remodel has created about 7,000 square feet of updated retail and showroom space with a completely new layout, with expanded product offerings and displays for windows and doors, decking and railing, exterior building products and more.
Customers should find it easier to explore options and work with the 41 Lumber team when planning projects of all sizes, the company states in a news release.
"This remodel is about much more than changing how the store looks," said Carol Menghini, COO of 41 Lumber. "We wanted to create a space that better represents everything we can offer our customers and gives them the opportunity to experience more of those products firsthand. We're incredibly proud of the transformation and excited to finally share it with the community."
The project was a collaborative effort involving the Quinnesec team, team members from across 41 Lumber, contractors and numerous vendor partners.
The grand reopening Friday will give visitors an opportunity as well to meet members of the 41 Lumber team and representatives from several of the brands featured in the store. The afternoon will include vendor demonstrations, snacks and refreshments, prizes and giveaways.
"We've had customers watching the progress along the way, but seeing the finished store is completely different," said Craig Burkman, Quinnesec store manager. "Whether someone works with us regularly or hasn't visited the Quinnesec store in a while, we think they're going to be surprised by how much has changed."
Founded in 1925, 41 Lumber is a family-owned building materials supplier serving professional contractors, builders and homeowners throughout the Upper Peninsula. With locations in Quinnesec, Houghton, Laurium, Marquette, Escanaba and Munising, along with its Kitchen, Bath & Home Design Center in downtown Iron Mountain, 41 Lumber provides building materials, project expertise and design resources for projects ranging from renovations and home improvements to new construction.
