IRON MOUNTAIN -- The Other Side Plant Shop has a new home at 127 S. Stephenson Ave. in Iron Mountain, where the Dickinson Area Chamber of Commerce recently had a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate.
Owned by Amy Bergman, The Other Side Plant Shop has continued to grow since first opening its doors in June 2025, creating a welcoming destination for both seasoned plant enthusiasts and those just beginning to discover their green thumb, the chamber states in a news release.
The move marks an exciting new chapter for the locally owned business and provides a fresh space for Bergman to continue sharing her lifelong love of plants with the community, according to the chamber.
More than just a place to purchase houseplants, The Other Side Plant Shop is designed to make plant ownership approachable and enjoyable. The shop specializes in unique houseplants and carries a variety of soil blends, nutrients, pest sprays, pottery and small gifts. Customers can also take advantage of plant rehabilitation services and a free potting station with plant purchases, the chamber states.
"Opening a plant shop was a childhood dream of mine, and seeing the support it has received from our community has meant so much to me," Bergman said. "I'm excited to begin this next chapter in our new location and continue helping people find plants they love and giving them the knowledge and confidence to help those plants thrive."
That personal attention has remained an important part of the shop, she said. Whether customers are searching for something unusual to add to an established collection or purchasing their very first houseplant, Bergman works to help them select plants that fit their space, lifestyle and experience level while providing practical plant-care advice along the way.
The Other Side Plant Shop also offers local delivery to surrounding areas.
