IRON MOUNTAIN - Precision ID & Drug Screening recently opened a new office in downtown Iron Mountain and was welcomed by the Dickinson Area Chamber of Commerce with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Precision ID & Drug Screening provides comprehensive workforce screening and identity verification services for employers, organizations and individuals throughout the area.

Services include drug and alcohol testing, fingerprinting, identity verification, background screening, workplace compliance support and specimen collection. By offering these services locally, Precision ID & Drug Screening provides area employers and individuals with convenient access to services that might otherwise require travel outside the community, the chamber states in a news release.

Owner Courtney Gerhard started the business with a commitment to providing accurate, confidential and timely services while building long-term relationships with the people and businesses she serves, according to the release. Precision ID & Drug Screening also works with employers to support safer workplaces, meet screening and compliance needs and make informed hiring decisions.

"Providing quality service and building trusting relationships is just as important as delivering accurate results," Gerhard said. "My goal is to support local businesses, create opportunities for individuals and strengthen our community by providing reliable services that people don't have to travel far to receive."

For Gerhard, opening the business in Iron Mountain represents more than a new business venture -- it also is an investment in the community she calls home, the news release states.

"I am proud to invest in my hometown, and I look forward to serving our community for years to come," she said.
