FLORENCE, Wis. — Florence County Health Department is offering a Pfizer pediatric COVID-19 vaccine clinic at Florence Elementary School on Tuesday.

Parents/guardians are asked to complete the consent form sent in the child’s “Friday folder” and return it no later than Monday for the 5K-6th grade clinic (ages 5-11). If a parent/guardian did not receive forms, contact the FCHD at 715-528-4837.

After children get their COVID-19 vaccine, they will be observed for at least 15 minutes.

Children will later need a second dose of Pfizer vaccine. It takes two weeks after a child’s second dose to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
