LONG LAKE, Wis. — Residents in the town of Long Lake will choose a new town chairman and town clerk in a recall election today.

John Halada and Cyndy Halada had resigned as chairman and clerk, respectively, before the recall ballot was printed so they will not appear on the ballot, Florence County Clerk’s office officials said.

Candidates for the chair position are David P. “Skip” Ritchie Sr. and William Streu. Amanda Mulvey and Megan Wilder are on the ballot for the clerk seat.
