IRON MOUNTAIN — A Vulcan man faces a felony drug charge for reportedly having methamphetamine in Iron Mountain on Feb. 21.

Laurence James Zeugner, 28, is accused of possession of methamphetamine, a 10-year felony. He will have a pre-trial conference Monday in Dickinson County Circuit Court.

While Iron Mountain police were doing a pat-down search of Zeugner, they found a spoon with burnt residue and a small plastic bag containing suspected methamphetamine, according to the criminal complaint.

Zeugner reportedly admitted the substance was methamphetamine, so officers sent it to the crime lab for analysis, the complaint states.
