Niagara Lions launch drawing to raise money for fireworks

NIAGARA, Wis. — The Niagara Lions has started a new raffle to raise funds for the fireworks show at its 2018 Lions Picnic.

Headed by Lion Dan Decker as raffle chairman, only 600 tickets at $10 each will be sold.

A total of $2,000 in cash prizes, donated by area businesses, will be awarded when the drawings take place about 6 p.m Saturday, June 30, during the Lions Picnic. Ticket holders need not be present that day to win.

All prizes will be cash and include a first prize of $500, donated by mBank of Niagara. Second prize is $400, provided by Bink’s Coca Cola. Third prize is $300, donated by the Niagara Lions Club; fourth and fifth prizes are $250, donated by Niagara Health Center, and $200 donated by Niagara Fabrication.

Other prizes include $100 each, donated by Steeno’s Bar, Wilson Auto Collision, and Big 10 Sports Bar; and $50 donated by Best Buy Liquor and Party Store.

Tickets are available at Audrey’s Ravioli Shop, Best Buy Liquor, Bob’s Country Bar, Forward Financial Credit Union, Great Lakes Fresh Market, mBank, Nev’s North Star Bar, Pat’s on Mane, Pit Stop Bar & Grill, Steeno’s Bar, The Bunker, Uptown Lanes & Lounge, Big Ten Sports Bar in Quinnesec, and Bartoletti’s Supper Club and Tom & Jo’s Liquor in Aurora, Wis.
