Additionally, BOSS received tremendous community support throughout their fundraising and volunteer efforts including Kingsford Dairy Queen, Solbergs Greenleaf Bar and Grill and Freedom Fireworks.

“The employees at BOSS Snowplow did an amazing job raising money to support the Lake Antoine Park Partners Project,” said Jody Christy, president, BOSS Snowplow. “I am so proud of both the fundraising team and all of our employees that participated in the fundraising events. They really got behind this cause and helped make a difference. We also received great support from our community partners. They also deserve to be recognized,” Christy said.

Lake Antoine Park Partners is undertaking several major initiatives, including modernizing the bathrooms and showers, creating safe play spaces for children, rebuilding of the boat launch and dock area, improving the electrical supply for the south end of the park, and reconfiguring the campsites. These initiatives allow the Partners to play a supporting role in Dickinson County’s 10-year parks and recreation plan.

“Lake Antoine Park Partners always welcomes volunteers to help with work bees scheduled at the park in the spring and fall,” said Barb Kramer, board member. “There is an extensive to-do list for the park. We are so grateful for the support of this community,” Kramer added.

Tax-deductible donations in any amount to support the work of the Partners are also always welcome. The mailing address for the Partners is P.O. Box 609, Iron Mountain, MI 49801.
