‘Nature of Dickinson County’ calendars on sale

KINGSFORD — The Dickinson Conservation District now has its 2019 “Nature of Dickinson County” calendars available for sale.
Filled with beautiful images taken by local photographers of the wildlife and scenery in Dickinson County, the calendar will make any wall look great and can provide a touch of home for out-of-town family and friends.
Calendars are $6 each and can be purchased from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at the conservation district office, 410 N. Hooper St. in Kingsford. A number of local retailers also carry it. Or call the conservation district office at 906-774-1550, ext. 180, to pay with credit card and have calendars mailed across the country, with a nominal fee for postage.
Proceeds from the calendars are used to fund youth and adult environmental education efforts. The conservation district thanks this year’s calendar sponsors: Norway Dairy Queen, Coleman Engineering Company, Ray’s Feed Mill, Breitung Township Schools, Van Oss Forestry Services LLC, Lake State Land Surveying Inc., Redline Sport & Marine, Peterson Welding LLC, Tavernini Agency Inc., Minerick Logging, Erickson Jewelers, US Printers and Ryan Law.
