Teen arrested after knife threat
IRON MOUNTAIN — Officers from the Iron Mountain Police Department arrested a 17-year-old Thursday after he threatened residents of a home with a knife.
According to a release from Iron Mountain Director of Police and Fire Services Ed Mattson, the teenager kicked in the door of a home on the 600 block of East A Street shortly before midnight.
The male was subdued by the occupants of the home just before officers arrived and is now being held in the Dickinson County Correctional Center pending the issuance of formal charges by Dickinson County Prosecutor Lisa Richards.
The IMPD was assisted by the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Department.
There are no other details at this time.
