‘Discover Wisconsin’ show to spotlight Florence

MADISON, Wis. — “Discover Wisconsin,” the state’s tourism TV show, will spotlight Florence and three other Main Street communities in an episode that will premier at 10 a.m. Saturday on Fox Sports Wisconsin.

“Just Off Main Street” also will feature Osceola, Whitewater and Omro.

The episode already is available for streaming on Chromecast, Amazon Fire, Apple TV, Roku and Smart TV, and will be posted on the DiscoverWisconsin.com website after Sunday.

Co-host Marie Justice explores the beauty of the northwoods in Florence County. With 72 pristine miles of state-designated wild rivers and nearly 200 miles of motorized trails that connect Wisconsin and Michigan, there’s plenty to see by canoe, snowmobile or ATV/UTV.

Justice also visits Keyes Peak Winter Recreation Area, where families enjoy skiing, snowboarding, tubing and disk golf at their annual Winterfest event. She finishes her visit to the area by exploring two of the seven waterfalls in Florence County, LaSalle Falls and Breakwater Falls.

“Just Off Main Street” will reach Discover Wisconsin’s broadcast network of 600,000 viewers across the upper Great Lakes region, including Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, northern Illinois and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
