The Laborers’ International Union of North America (LiUNA) Local 1329 has graciously offered to cover the expenses of sending a student fan bus to support the Mountaineer boys basketball team in Petoskey on Tuesday. The union’s gesture allowed equal access to all students who want to attend the game at no cost. LiUNA members, players and students in front of the fan bus include, from left, Marcus Johnson, Dale Alessandrini, Tony Alessandrini, Geno Alessandrini, Jr., Local 1329 business manager, Gabe Celello, Owen Caudell, David Brule, Jurgen Kleiman, Eamoon Weed, Tony Feira, Christian Tregillis, Michael Talerico, Santino Carollo and Charlie Gerhard. The basketball team plays in the finals tomorrow at 3:30 p.m. local time.
