IRON MOUNTAIN — Dickinson County Sheriff Scott Rutter has issued his monthly report for March.

The road patrol served 221 civil process papers, investigated 92 complaints, handled 24 accidents, issued 25 citations and 89 verbal warnings, made 15 arrests — 10 of which were for outstanding warrants, completed 145 property checks, and made three prison transports and one two mental health transport.

The correctional center had 82 bookings, with an average daily booking of 2.6 and an average daily population of 68.4.

The dispatch center handled 601 911 calls, 2,416 non-911 calls, 996 calls for law enforcement service, 323 calls for ambulance service, and 80 calls for fire service.

Individuals assigned to the sheriff’s work van logged 171.5 hours in March working at the Dickinson-Iron Community Services Agency, Caring House, Dickinson Area Community Foundation, Great American Disposal, sheriff’s office and courthouse, Almost Home Animal Shelter and Pine Mountain.
