Savannah Vassar

FLORENCE, Wis. — Florence High School senior Savannah Vassar has been chosen to receive the $1,200 Nsight Telservices scholarship for 2019.

Vassar has served her school and community through National Honor Society, Student Council, and TORPEDOS. She maintained a high level of academic excellence while participating in sports and music.

She graduated among the top five students in the FHS class of 2019 and plans to attend the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in the fall. She is the daughter of Rudy and Lisa Vassar of Florence.

Nsight annually awards scholarships to graduating high school seniors across its Wisconsin service area.

Applicants must attend high school in Niagara, Florence, Pulaski, Oconto, Oconto Falls, Manitowoc, Two Rivers or Door County.

Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic record, potential to succeed, leadership and participation in school and community activities, honors, work experience, and a competitive essay on community impact.
