Walk for homeless veterans

From left, Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center employees Alex Graham, Andrew Jodocy, Jackie Hintsala, Emily Willems and Rebecca VanDusen walk on their lunch hour Wednesday during the annual VA2K walk to promote healthy living and benefit homeless veterans. The VA medical center at 325 E. H St. in Iron Mountain was among 170 VA facilities nationwide participating in the approximately 2-kilometer walk. Those wishing to help homeless veterans or veterans at risk of homelessness can purchase and donate gift cards for gas stations, groceries or department stores.
