Dickinson County War Veterans Scholarship Association has announced the presentation of a $450 scholarship to Katrina Townsend of North Dickinson High School. Townsend will be attending Bay College in the fall to pursue a degree in nursing. The War Vet’s Scholarship was established in 1968 with the purpose of awarding a scholarship to a worthy graduate of a public high school of Dickinson County who is a veteran, or the son or daughter, serving in some branch of the military in the USA.
