A Niagara museum mural?

Abby Berglund paints a giant question mark where she hopes to put a mural on the outside of the Niagara Area Historical Museum at 1356 River St. in Niagara, Wis. The museum board is working on a fundraiser to have Berglund paint a scene that would include the bluffs and historical buildings in town. They are selling bricks to sponsor the new mural; the local Chartier family already purchased the first four bricks. “It’s big for Niagara, and details will be coming soon,” museum Director Karen Klenke said. The museum at 1356 River St. in Niagara, Wis., will open for the season Sunday, with hours of 1 to 4 p.m. At 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Lynn Burke will honor Jean Hendricks, an art teacher at Niagara Elementary School who recently donated a quilt made by her students.
