Public asked to watch for stolen new motorcycles

MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — The Marquette County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of two new motorcycles from Driven Inc. in Marquette Township.

The two motorcycles, made by Austrian motorcycle and sports car manufacturer KTM, were stolen sometime between Friday night and Saturday morning, according to a release from the sheriff’s office.

The motorcycles — both 2020 300 XC TPI models, orange and white in color — were still packaged in cardboard on wooden pallets and not fully assembled.

The sheriff’s office is asking anyone with information regarding the theft or who may have been offered the sale of a 2020 KTM motorcycle to contact the sheriff’s office at 906-225-8470, llarson@mqtco.org, or by sending a message through Facebook.
