Three injured in two rollover crashes Sunday

Three men had injuries not considered to be life-threatening in separate rollover accidents early Sunday in Dickinson County, the Michigan State Police Iron Mountain Post reported.

The first happened about 2 a.m. on East Fordville Road in Breen Township, after an ATV carrying two males failed to make a turn due to high speed and rolled several times, ejecting the passenger, according to a MSP news release.

Both men were transported to the Dickinson County Memorial Hospital. Alcohol and speed are believed to have factored in the crash, according to the release. No names were released.

Troopers were assisted by Star Ambulance, Beacon Ambulance and the Breen Township Fire Department.

Then about 5:30 a.m., a northbound vehicle on M-95 near Floodwood Road in Sagola Township went off the east side of the roadway, came back on the road and rolled several times before coming to rest on the west side of the road, a second news release stated.

Henry Sale, of Warren, Michigan, was taken Dickinson County Memorial Hospital. He admitted to falling asleep while driving, according to the release, and was cited for careless driving.

The MSP was assisted by the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office, Star Ambulance, the Sagola Fire Department and L.R. Vincent Towing.
