Tour guide Milt Krznarich, left, of Norway explains to visitors the history of the Iron Mountain Iron Mine in Vulcan. The mine produced nearly 22 million tons of ore over a span of 68 years, beginning in the 1880s. Walking tours of the mine began in 1958 and a train was added at the popular tourist attraction in 1965.
