Daggett woman killed in Menominee County crash

MENOMINEE — A 37-year-old Daggett woman died Tuesday after a two-vehicle crash on County Road 380 in Nadeau Township.

Christina Decoster was the driver of a vehicle that collided just after 3 p.m. with a vehicle driven by Christian Bollon, 21, of Carney, Menominee County Sheriff Kenny Marks said. The crash occurred near J-1 Road.

Decoster, who was ejected from her vehicle, was transported by Mid County Rescue and intercepted by UP Health System. She was taken to Our Sisters of St Francis Hospital in Escanaba, where she died of her injuries, according to the sheriff.

Bollon was treated at OSF for injuries that were not life-threatening.
