IRON MOUNTAIN – The Dickinson Area Community Foundation has awarded a $250 mini-grant to the Northern Lights YMCA to assist in funding the upcoming Community Connect event on Friday, Nov. 8.

The free event will host many service agencies that provide assistance to those in need, a free store for toiletry items as well as some clothing and winter weather items.

It will be held at the YMCA in Iron Mountain from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Lunch will be provided.
